We are excited to announce the official launch of ResPa - Consumers' role in responsible packaging, an EU-funded project designed to accelerate innovation and green skills across the entire packaging value chain.
Putting Consumers at the Heart of the Circular Economy
ResPa recognizes that a sustainable future depends on more than just materials, it requires a shift in how we design, use, and recover packaging. The project focuses on three strategic pillars:
- Recyclable and Reusable Packaging: Developing technical solutions to minimize waste.
- Consumer Behavior: Understanding post-purchase impact to encourage sustainable habits.
- Green Skills & Innovation: Establishing Living Labs and digital micro-credentials to empower the next generation of industry professionals.
A Strong Start: The Official Kick-off
The project recently marked its official start with a Kick-off Meeting that brought together all international partners. By utilizing the Quadruple Helix model, uniting industry, higher education, vocational training, and consumers, ResPa aims to transform packaging into a truly circular system where every stakeholder plays a vital role.
